Massa and Carrara’s province is located in the North of Tuscany and it’s the heart of some wonderful gems: Golfo dei Poeti, Cinque Terre, artistic and historical cities and “borghi”, castles, wine & food specialties, and warm popular traditions. The extraordinary harmony created by the blue sea and the white marble mountains will offer a great sight to tourists and a special inner peace that will be hard to forget.
TORRE MARINA VILLAGE
The young athletes are hosted in the village “Torre Marina”, specialized in summer camps and events and surrounded by 200m of fine-grained beach and a 5-ectar-wide pine grove. The village has direct access to the private beach equipped with deck chairs, beach umbrellas and showers (all included in the camp fee).
JAM CAMP’S SPORTS VILLAGE
Competitive activities take place indoor, on the courts belonging to the beautiful and modern complex “Fiera di Carrara”. This complex can be easily turned into a sports village that includes 18 volleyball courts, where technical training, workout and tournaments take place. The complex also includes a Physical Therapy (PT) service and an administrative office.

Massa and Carrara’s province is located in the North of Tuscany at the intersection of some wonderful touristic spots such as Golfo dei Poeti, Cinque Terre, and the beautiful art cities in Tuscany. In this place nature has found a way to combine earth and sea with wonderful harmony.
The Apuan Alps, popular for their marble, touch the sandy beaches for many kilometers. The unique geographical position and the exceptional diversity of this territory make it a heavenly location, ideally suited for any kind of tourism.
The Lunigiana area is situated at the northern border of the province, beyond the Apuan Alps. This tiny region – one of the richest in terms of history and traditions – is named after Luni, an important center of the Ancient Roman era.
Alongside the Magra river, at the intersection with the Medieval paths of the via Francigena, we can witness the relics and remains of old and developed civilizations. Massa and Carrara’s province is uniquely characterized by the Apuan Alps, a massive mountain chain that reminds of the northerner Alps due to its peaks and cliffs. These superb mountains can offer a fantastic sight along their hiking paths: the option of enjoying the sea from above. Besides the mountains and the sea, this region extending from the coast to the interior offers diverse and fascinating landscapes in every season.
I partecipanti al Jam Camp di Marina di Massa sono ospitati presso il Villaggio Torre Marina e presso l'attiguo Hotel "Il Pioppo", mentre l'attività sportiva si svolge all’interno della prestigiosa struttura fieristica di Marina di Carrara trasformata per l'occasione in una cittadella dello sport.
VILLAGE
“Torre Marina”
The “Torre Marina” village is surrounded by nature thanks to its 5-ectar-wide pine grove and its 200-meter-long private beach. The residential complexes Pineta, Mimosa, Tamerici, Torre, and Terrazza offer a warm welcome to guests of different age ranges and needs.
The dining hall offers a spectacular sight on the sea and the “Torre Marina” kitchen staff is proud to offer a varied and balanced weekly menu, especially targeted to young athletes. One of our staff members will work specifically with Campers having specific nutritional requirements due to allergies, intolerances, etc. A vegetarian and vegan menu is also available upon request and free of extra charge.
The complex also includes a 600sqm theater which is equipped for conferences and video installations, classrooms for educational activities and labs, sports courts and an Olympic-size pool with water slide. For your most relaxing moments, the village offers direct access to the private beach where you can find deck chairs, beach umbrellas, and showers (all included in the Camp fee).
All the Jam Camp participants will stay in double, triple, or quadruple rooms with private bathroom, located in 1-2 floor buildings (Ali, Pineta, Mimosa, Tamerici complexes).
Within the village there’s also a medical facility devoted to Jam Camp participants, where all the campers can find 24/7 assistance from professional doctors. The administrative office is also located nearby.
The wide pine grove surrounding the village allows for interesting hiking trails immersed in nature. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff complete the picture of a perfect outdoor vacation.
P.S. In case of exhaustion of the beds at the Torre Marina Village and at the Il Pioppo Hotel, the campers can be accommodated at Casa Faci, a facility located a few minutes from the village. The campers staying at Casa Faci will still enjoy all the leisure facilities (beach, swimming pool and evening parties) at the Torre Marina Village.

“Il Pioppo”
Situato di fronte al Villaggio Torre Marina, l'Hotel "Il Pioppo" è circondato da 10.000 metri quadri di pineta e si compone di 48 camere suddivise tra doppie e triple.
La cucina propone un menù appositamente studiato per i giovani sportivi. É previsto su richiesta un menù vegetariano.
I campers alloggiati presso Il Pioppo usufruiranno di tutti i servizi per il tempo libero (spiaggia, piscina e feste serali) presso il Villaggio Torre Marina.

“Casa Faci”
Located a few minutes from the Torre Marina Village and recently renovated, the Casa Faci Holiday House is equipped with different types of rooms divided between doubles, triples and quadruples and overlooks a beautiful private beach.
The kitchen offers a menu specially designed for young sportsmen, with the possibility of variations in case of celiac disease or food intolerances.
The campers staying at Casa Faci will enjoy all the leisure facilities (beach, swimming pool and evening parties) at the Torre Marina Village.

DI CARRARA
One of the greatest strengths of the Marina di Massa edition of Jam Camp Volleyball is the wonderful sports village set up in the modern Fiera IMM in Carrara (Pavilion E). Our campers have the opportunity to train in this huge complex including 18 courts, 4 of which are in taraflex and 6 in soft top and thus more suitable to young players. All the courts are ideal places for training, workout, and tournaments.
The sports village is only 3 kms away from the “Torre Marina” Village, and private shuttles Granturismo are available to take our campers from Torre Marina directly to Pavilion E, which will be reserved for Jam Camp Volleyball.
The courts include an on-site Physical Therapy service, with qualified professionals who will always be available during the activities, 3 water fountains where the players can refresh, and an administrative office available to all the campers.
